Crossfit has recently developed a massive following in the fitness world. The workout caters to a wide range of individuals looking to condition their body and strengthen their core. With it’s growing popularity among the fitness community, you can imagine that when David and Noal (co-owners of two Crossfit Defined locations) came to us looking for commercial space, we were going to go over and beyond to bring them into our tenant community.
The building that Crossfit Defined now occupies started off on rocky ground. The building was condemned to be demolished. We brought the building out of condemnation just a few days before it would have been knocked down. With Crossfit’s specs in mind, we brought a very beaten up building back to life in a matter of months.
This space was perfect for Crossfit because they needed an open floor plan with tall ceilings and minimal office space. Because their method is to break away from the conventional gym atmosphere, David was looking for flexible space, as well. The use of heavy weights and equipment facilitated the need for mats on the hardwood floor. Tall bow-truss ceilings allow the trainers to use the building’s architecture to its fullest advantage. In the heart of Lincoln Square, the business adds immense value to the community.
This was our third commercial leasing experience and by far the easiest out of the three! Lichter Realty has exceeded expectations every step of the way.
From leasing to tenancy, David said our responsiveness to updates and concerns are always met with speed and efficiency. They had leased from other landlord’s before and felt of sense of relief when they began working with us. We believe in personalizing each tenant’s experience with us. In Crossfit Defined’s case, we continue to deliver excellent service and open communication even after two plus years into their lease.
